As we bid farewell to the sun-drenched days of summer and prepare to embrace the cozy embrace of autumn and winter, join us for a special series focused on nurturing your physical well-being. This series is designed to help you ease into the changing seasons with strength, vitality, and balance.

Gong bath & Meditation:⁠

SEPTEMBER 27TH⁠ 6:30PM-7:45PM

Gong baths and sound healing are renowned for their ability to reduce stress, and anxiety, and promote a sense of calm. Let go of the worries of the world and embrace a moment of peace. Experience the powerful effects of sound vibrations as they work on your body, mind, and spirit. It's a unique form of therapy that leaves you feeling balanced and refreshed led by our talented facilitator Vaun.

Pilates Session:

OCTOBER 18TH:6:30PM-7:30PM

Whether you're new to Pilates or a seasoned pro, this class is designed to accommodate all levels of experience. Our certified instructor Vaun, will provide modifications to suit your needs. Pilates is an excellent way to build and maintain strength during the colder months. We'll focus on targeted exercises to keep your core strong, your muscles toned, and your posture impeccable.

Yoga Nidra: "Yogic Sleep"

NOVEMBER 29TH: 6:30PM-7:30PM

In a world that never stops, Yoga Nidra provides you with valuable "me time." It's an oasis of calm where you can reset, recharge, and nourish your spirit. Experience the ultimate relaxation technique – Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep. It's a practice that takes you on a journey to the deepest layers of tranquility and inner peace.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or new to the practice, Yoga Nidra is accessible to all. There are no complicated poses or physical challenges – just relaxation, led by our talented practitioner Emma.

Seasonal Stretch Session:

DECEMBER 12TH: 6:00PM-7:00PM

This class is specially tailored to address the needs of your body during the winter season, promoting circulation and vitality when it's needed most. Winter is a time for reflection and inner connection. As you stretch, we'll guide you through mindful breathing and awareness exercises, helping you find stillness within the season's quietude.

Targeting injustice through place-based work | Renaisi

Founder Camille from @theblackwellbeingcollective & Dominic CEO The West of England Centre for Inclusive Living (WECIL) wecil_charity held discussions targeting the root causes of injustice in a place. ⁠

💫The space was open to learn from experiences, particularly focusing on the importance of lived experience leadership and connecting to place in targeting injustice.⁠

We held conversation around: ⁠
💫Common learning around how a place-lens can support targeting injustice⁠
💫 The challenges and tensions that one can face in aiming to target root causes via a place-based approach⁠
💫 Approaches identifying the root causes of injustice in place and centring lived experience⁠
💫 Place-based organisations’ role in addressing justice at a national policy level⁠
